The World of Maramures

It all happened by coincidence when Virgilio Bardossi arrived in this region of Romania. And yet surprisingly, he was completely attracted by the beauty of the place and the hospitality of its inhabitants, and fascinated by their kindness and friendliness.

At the beginning, Virgilio Bardossi started taking photos of everything he encountered, and then he realised the more that his mind and inspiration became a part of local people’s life. Therefore, he began to captured them in daily life, at work, at home and even during the festivity days, choosing single subjects but preferably groups.
