The Chinese nation has always sought the “uniting as one big family”, and advocated the harmony between people and nature, harmony among all nations, and harmony among all countries, and all the main roads lead to the far places, and people of all countries in the world should uphold the concept of “uniting as one big family”, open their arms, understand each other, seek common ground while reserving differences, and work together to build a community of shared future for mankind.

The world today has entered a new era of political multi-polarity and cultural diversity and is undergoing profound changes. Facing reality and future, countries all over the world, especially those along the Silk Road, need to be more united and co-existed in peace than ever before. "The relationship between countries lies in the harmony between the people". To jointly create a peaceful, united and harmonious Silk Road National Photography Destiny Community is the common aspiration of photographers from all over the world.

This year is the fifth year since President Xi Jinping first proposed the “Belt and Road Initiative”. In order to actively respond to the “Belt and Road Initiative”, and participate in cultural exchanges between countries along the “Belt and Road”, and let more people know about the history, culture and social life of the countries and nationalities along the Silk Road, Silk Road Photographic Organization International Alliance and Jinan International Photography Biennale Organizing Committee will jointly host the “The Silk Road in the Eyes of World Photographers” Photography Art Exhibition, and call for entries worldwide from now on. The specific rules are as follows:


Works Content:

Photos that display humanity history, natural landscapes, heritage sites, social life and folk customs of the countries and nationalities along the Silk Road taken by photographers worldwide in the past five years are eligible.

Awards and Prizes:

Gold Pinhole Imaging Prize 3 winners Medals, Certificates and Portfolios

Silver Pinhole Imaging Prize 9 winners Medals, Certificates and Portfolios

Bronze Pinhole Imaging Prize 18 winners Medals, Certificates and Portfolios

Honorable mentions 60 winners Medals, Certificates and Portfolios

Rules:

1. All professional and amateur photographers from China and abroad can submit works.

2. Each entrant can upload up to 10 photos, which must be created during 2013 to the present.

3. There is no limit on the theme, subject or style. Both colored and monochrome photos are welcome. But Photoshop using is forbidden.

4. This exhibition only accepts single photo. Series and printed photos are not welcome. Entries shall be sent to the designated email of the exhibition.

5. Submitted photo(s) must be in JPG format and of a minimum 7M in size (with the longest side no less than 5000px).

6. The photographer's name and nationality, the title and the location of shooting shall be indicated in the entries.

7. Entrants shall have independent copyright of their submitted photos and ensure that the photos do not infringe on the copyrights, portrait rights, rights of reputation and privacy of third parties.

8. The organizer has the right to use all the exhibited works, including the right to use and publish in exhibitions, with no remunerations being due.

9. All entrants must read the above terms carefully, and are deemed to have agreed on all terms upon submission.
