The award ceremony of the 2017 Global Photography “Sente·Antu Cup” International Photo Contest is about to take place in Antu County, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province, China, on January 26th, 2018. Photographers from all over the world will gather in Antu to exchange ideas about photographic art, discuss development trends of photography and carry out photo shoot activities, as well as to witness the birth of the “Top 10 Photographers of the World”.

The Contest has received entries from 43 countries and regions, and is judged by a jury of internationally recognized photography professionals. With the principles of fairness, impartiality and openness, the contest has been through two rounds of judging. Finally ten winners have been crowned “Top Ten Photographers of the World” with other ten photographers winning nominations. Besides, the jury committee has added two additional awards, which are 100 Honorable Mentions and one Special Award, to reward the excellent single images across all the entries. Global Photography will select a number of qualified photographers to be contributing photographers.

At the ceremony, we will have the opportunity to appreciate all the award-winning works and launch the 2018 Global Photography “Sente Antu Cup” International Photo Contest. Along with the ceremony, there will also be local dancing performance, a photography lecture and a photo shoot activity.

Antu County is located in the eastern part of Jilin Province. As the No. 1 County of Changbai Mountains, Antu is a national ecological demonstration area with rich and varied tourism resources. In recent years, Antu Government has paid much emphasis on protecting ecological environment, developing green industry, and applying the "Internet+" mode to develop tourism through all of Global Photography’s online platforms. By this means, Antu’s ecological tourism resources will get global exposure, thereby stimulating the long-term development of local cultural industry and other related industries. The “Sente·Antu Cup” International Photo Contest will serve as a chance for more people to know about and visit Antu, as well as for Antu to build up a renowned brand in both domestic and overseas markets.
