Chinese Olympic delegation receives a warm welcome in Hong Kong

The Chinese mainland Rio Olympic delegation kicked off their three-day visit in Hong Kong on last Saturday. It is an all-star Olympic lineup: A 64-strong Olympic delegation, including all 42 Chinese gold medallists! Besides, badminton legend Lin Dan, popular swimmer Fu Yuanhui, and Asian-record-breaking sprinter Su Bingtian and so forth are also included! They are set to participate in three public sessions, meeting tens of thousands of fans in the city.

It has been a tradition since the Athens Olympic Games in 2004, that the mainland's Olympic athletes pay a visit to Hong Kong.

The champions spread out across Hong Kong on Sunday, greeting ordinary people and sending fans into a frenzy by demonstrating their medal-winning skills at a jam-packed variety show. Over 3,000 fans filled Queen Elizabeth Stadium.

Holding lit-up party clappers, fans screamed out the athletes’ names as they took turns performing their world-class skills.
