Description With the passion of travel, abandon heritage across the world and photography, French adventurer Romain Veillon recently explored the Saint-Joseph island which is the southernmost island of the three Salvations’ Islands in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of French Guiana.

It was the royal and devil island that used as a penal colony hundred years ago. But now, most of it is covered with dense vegetation, which is shown in Romain Veillon’s photo project here.
