With a keen eye for a good taste and beautiful things, Lithuanian editorial and commercial photographer Eglė Ma kept moving towards the career in food photography for more than seven years now.

For the food photography, Eglė Ma’s attention is to make food look good through using natural light, showcasing minimalism, light, form and refined delicacy inspired by Japanese culture and emphasising aesthetically clean, strong photography, focused on a subject instead of details.

“Simple doesn’t mean easy. Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.” Photographer added, “I believe we start eating with our eyes and the plates should tell us stories. So, whatever I’m shooting, I like to give it a mood or an emotion.”
