After coming up with the idea for the refreshing series, Duncan Elliott visited four of Machester’s best breweries: Blackjack, Cloudwater, Runaway and Track, and photographed the people who work there and the processes they use to create their beer.

In his opinion, the breweries are the places that full of texture, amazing shapes and structures, visual order, craft and passion; the brewers themselves, in addition, are the most brilliant bunch of people. Therefore, Duncan Elliott aims to produce images that show all of aspects and portray them to convey the pride they have in their product.

"Witnessing the processes that go into creating these great beers means I sip my pint more slowly, thinking of the hard work that has gone into making the beer in that pint glass." said photographer.

> The project "The Brewers" was exhibited on June 15, 2017 at Port Street Beer Houses, and is still on show at Port Street Beer Houses's Website here .
