Category winners will each receive a superb Fjällräven Kaipak 38 daypack, worth £170, and £200 cash. Your category winning image will also be included in the OPOTY 2017 book and exhibition, which will take place at The Photography Show at the NEC in Birmingham.

You can enter as many categories as you like, but each entrant is limited to eight images per category per entry fee – you can enter a category more than once if you wish to submit more than eight images to a category.

Online submission of digital photographs via the website.

Image requirements:

JPEG format; a compression quality of between 8 and 10 (between 75 and 85 when using Adobe Lightroom). The image should be sized between 2100 pixels and 2700 pixels on its longest side at 300ppi.
